The old mill building at 556 Atwells Avenue has long-lost its original function. In recent memory, one may recall that as a storage space, used furniture store, and a few other odds and ends. The living quarters, if any, were far away from the public view.
This will soon change as the new conversion project will bring lofts unlike others in the area. Instead of being thin-walled quarters, these lofts will be tranquil spaces with many amenities for the residents. The newly established Gotham Greens next door will add to the planned green areas in the building, including some terrace areas.
The plans include a roof-top bar, a coffee shop, reading and exercise spaces for the residents and visitors. Work has already started with the demolition, and we will provide updates to keep you informed. Remember, the number of lofts is limited, contact us to discuss a place for you.
Here are the starting photographs of the old mill.
