802 River Ave. was originally a lot that was part of 798 River Ave. which is also owned by Strive. Joe Colaluca decided to create another residence he could rent. The project of building the house began in January with the poring of the foundation and was completed in May when the interior was finished. This house was built in five months and is ready for students to move in.
This house has three floors. In the basement are two bedrooms, one bathroom, and an extra room. Maybe a game room for those nights when there is no homework. On the first floor is a bathroom, and an open kitchen, living room, dining room area. The third floor consists of a master bedroom with its own bathroom. Two more bedrooms and another full bathroom.
This house is located just blocks away from Providence College and less than two miles from Rhode Island College. The heart of Providence is only four miles away.
At the four corners at the end of the block is LaSalle Bakery. A great place for coffee and a danish, or a sandwich at lunch. Across the street is a restaurant that serves Lebanese food and right next to that is The Abbey. A bar that features Porters, Ales, Lagers, and Stouts some from local breweries. To go along with a good brew they make good burgers to eat while you’re watching the game on a huge screen TV.
Providence is a city with much to offer. Theaters such as the Providence Performing Art Center and the Columbus Theater, to Restaurants of many cultures, Narrated boat tours along the canal, and water fire celebrations on many Saturday nights from spring to fall.
